17-year-old Hannah had been constantly active on Snapchat, and her father fears she may have gone to meet somebody that she was talking to on the messaging app, the night she vanished
A 17-year-old girl from Jackson County, Arkansas, is missing after she was last seen leaving her fathers house on Saturday night.
Hannah Osborn has now been missing for four days, and her family is desperately seeking answers for her disappearance. Her parents believe she may have met someone on Snapchat, and fear that foul play could be involved. Wesley and Crystal Osborn said their daughter, Hannah, is a smart girl with a wild spirit.
Her father, Wesley, said, She’s beautiful. She’s caring. She got a big heart, just beautiful on the inside and out. She’s a great person. We just want our daughter back. We would like to have her back home. But more importantly, I just need to know she’s alive and okay.”
News of Osborn’s disappearance comes just after another teenage girl failed to return home after going swimming and was later found dead. Wesley explained that his daughter is constantly active on Snapchat and has met up with people she was speaking to on the messaging app in the past.
She’s had problems with being on that Snapchat and meeting people out of town and things, but Hannah has always come home, he said. It was reported that Osborn was last seen at 7:40 on Saturday night at her father’s home near County Road Seven.
“There were some vehicles spotted on my road about the time that she left,” he added. “It leads me to believe there might be some foul play, some drug activity around my neighborhood.”
Osborns parents are unsure which vehicle Osborn got intoor if she got into one at all. They are trying to follow up on all leads as they desperately try to find out what happened to their daughter.
Colleen Nick, Director and CEO of the Morgan Nick Foundation, spoke about Osborn’s disappearance. Her own daughter was abducted in 1995, and she’s made it her mission to raise awareness about missing children.
Anyone who knows her or might know where she is, we would love for them to pass that message along that we want to talk to Hannah and to know that she’s okay, that she’s safe, and that she has the resources that she needs, said Nick.
Osborns family have been in touch with Jackson County authorities as well as state police. They said they are “not going to try to force her to come home. I just need to know she’s okay. I just need to know she’s alive. She’s not being held against her will, and that we love her.
Osborn is described as 59 tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She has curly, blonde hair, but her father said she straightens it frequently. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and an orange and black backpack.
